Howdy!

My name is Canyon and I’m really glad you’re here!

I’m a guy with too much on his mind trying to make sense of human complexity, culture, and how I can contribute to it all. In order to save my friends from more text messages of frankly unnecessary lengths about whatever’s going on in my head on a particular day, I’ve decided to put those ramblings to use here instead.

I hope that this space is a springboard to learn, think, write, and create—and to do it all in public with you folks, showing my work along the way. I plan to write about a whole host of things: from culture to psychology to media and more. Eventually, I also hope to be able to pursue other creative forms in addition to writing. Through it all, a sense of service, a value for multiple perspectives, and a genuine presentation will lay the foundation for what I do. Hopefully with some laughs and a smile along the way, as well!
